STOCKHOLM 1912 - Swedish Olympics Swatch Watch
MINT CONDITION / NEVER USED
1994 Swatch Automatic "Stockholm 1912" (Reference SAZ103), which was released ahead of the Atlanta 1996 Centennial Olympic Games as part of the Historical Olympic Games Collection.
Key Design Features
The Mechanical Movement: Unlike standard quartz models, this is a mechanical automatic watch powered by an ETA 23-jewel self-winding movement. It charges naturally through the movement of the wearer's wrist and features a clear exhibition window on the back to view the inner gears.
The Dial: Features a semi-skeleton layout with a soft gold center surrounded by a deep blue ring. It is printed with white Olympic rings and the historical text "Olympic Games Stockholm 1912 / June 29th - July 22nd".
The Art Strap: The upper and lower plastic straps are beautifully illustrated with classical, nude Olympic athletes wrapped in international flags, paying direct homage to the poster art of the 1912 Swedish games.
The Casing: A 37mm clear, transparent plastic case accented by an elegant, ribbed gold-tone crown.
ALL WATCHES HAVE BEEN TAKEN TO A WATCH SPECIALIST TO ENSURE FUNCTIONALITY - WITH NEW BATTERIES INSTALLED
