RUSSIAN TREASURY - Swatch Chrono Watch
NEVER USED / Damage on wristband that does not affect wearability but affects collectors value. We can replace the wristband with a solid color or clear wristband for an additional €20.
This imperial masterpiece is the 1994/1995 vintage Swatch Chrono "Russian Treasury" (Reference SCG107).
Originally created as an artistic tribute to Russian royalty and imperial history, this highly ornate chronograph features stylized elements inspired by the legendary Fabergé eggs and the Romanov dynasty. It remains one of the most uniquely themed historical chronographs in Swatch's 90s archive.
Key Design Features
The Imperial Portrait Dial: The white dial is dominated by three round chronograph sub-dials designed like miniature portrait lockets. These showcase classical royal portraits—including Tsar Nicholas II and Tsarina Alexandra Feodorovna—set against deep red and dark blue royal backdrops. The face is framed by ornate gold scrollwork flourishes and red hour intervals.
Case & Pushers: A 37.3mm translucent emerald-green plastic case capped with mismatching, pop-colored pushers (maroon-red for the stopwatch start/stop, forest-green for the reset) and a fluted gold-tone main crown.
The Royal Tapestry Strap: The plastic strap serves as a continuous decorative canvas. The lower strap features a large, pearl-like oval medallion stamped with a golden imperial monogram, set against a magenta criss-cross quilted pattern. The upper strap continues with elaborate gold trim and illustration detailing reminiscent of royal Russian attire.
